Change Management
A vastly experienced Change professional who has led change
initiatives during periods of business survival through to spectacular and
sustained business success. Leading, developing and motivating project teams of
up to 11 work streams and 60 staff. Integration of multiple third party
services, leading on contract negotiations and supplier management
CFS is only the second UK Financial Services
provider to undertake a programme to replace its entire banking services
platform, The EP programme represented the biggest investment ever made by the
CFS - circa £500M. I performed the IS lead role, managing all I.T.
Services including the systems integrator (IBM), package supplier (Infosys),
outsourced application provider (Steria) and all in-house infrastructure
services.
Project managed the delivery of all the infrastructure and services
to enable the Insurance Business to sell direct. This involved the integration
of 5 third party services (including leading contract negotiations), development
of internal software and integration of all associated
infrastructure/middleware. Creation of a multi-supplier/multi platform solution
which enabled the Insurance business to sell direct through call centers, now
accounting for an excess of 50% of CFS insurance sales.
Led a programme of work to integrate the banking and insurance
mortgage books into a single, unified (£3Billion) business. First joint venture
post merging of the separate banking and insurance businesses and a key enabler
to CFS’ growth during unparalleled economic conditions,
Project managed a number of key I.T. elements of the New Operating
Model Programme within CFS including the closure of circa 108 District Offices,
realising a saving of circa £20M per annum
